HUTCHINSON, MN – The long-awaited consolidation of branch facilities is nearing completion for MidCountry Bank. On Monday October 23, 2017 a newly constructed detached Drive Thru will open to the public on the east side of the 200 Main Street, providing 3 lanes of teller service and a conveniently relocated ATM. Services available at the “South” facility (905 Hwy 15 South) will be permanently discontinued following the close of business hours on Saturday October 21 to prepare for the transition.
Hutchinson Planning Commission approved the project plan in April 2016, which involved a land swap and redirection of the alley traffic just east of the current branch office.
Branch Manager Nikki Willemssen shared the positive sentiment she has experienced from Hutchinson customers and residents, “From the beginning, our objective was to improve the convenience services available at our downtown branch. Response in the community has been very positive throughout the project. We are very happy to see this through so our customers can take advantage of the new service options.”
