MidCountry Bank, a locally owned and operated community bank, is pleased to announce the groundbreaking for its Minnetonka branch redevelopment. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in MidCountry’s promise towards innovation, service excellence, and commitment to the community. The new building will replace the existing MidCountry Bank branch at the same location.
“The new Minnetonka branch represents our commitment to our customers, our community, and our vision for the future - a future that’s focused on building meaningful relationships, greater community support, and fostering financial well-being to everyone,” said Steve Meads, President and CEO of MidCountry Bank.
The new building will continue to offer a range of personal and business banking services with enhanced delivery. Customers can expect a modern and welcoming environment designed to help them achieve their financial goals. Space for a coffee shop tenant is also planned as part of the site redevelopment.
The groundbreaking ceremony brought together key stakeholders, project partners, community leaders, and representatives from MidCountry Bank, marking the beginning of an exciting chapter.
The new building is estimated to be completed in late 2024. Minnesota-based Frauenshuh, Inc. is the development and project management consultant, Sperides Reiners Architects, Inc. (SRa) designed the space, and Engelsma Construction, Inc. is the general contractor.
The Minnetonka branch will be open during construction but operating in a temporary bank in the south parking lot.
