MidCountry Bank, a regional community bank with 13 branch locations in central Minnesota, is excited to announce the launch of its newly designed www.MidCountry.bank website. With access to the same great services and resources they are used to, customers will now experience a fresh new online look and feel!
“The objective of our new website is to offer our customers streamlined access to relevant content pertinent to their unique financial needs. We believe the updated design and user experience is unprecedented in the Minnesota community banking market,” said Maureen O’Brien-Wieser, Chief Operating Officer. “As MidCountry Bank’s customer banking and financial educational needs continue to evolve, we are dedicated to providing the tools and resources to meet their expectations.”
Optimized with a responsive web and mobile design, the new site allows customers to browse the site via desktop or mobile devices how, when or where they choose to bank with MidCountry. This ‘MidCountry4Me’ philosophy ensures that customer needs drive our development.
Additionally, as part of the redesign, MidCountry has changed its primary domain name from www.MidCountryBank.com to www.MidCountry.bank. The transition to “dot bank” / “.bank” is purposeful, in that it provides the following benefits to customers:
- .bank domains are sold only to verified members of the banking community, providing an additional layer of security over traditional .com websites
- .bank is an internet web domain established specifically for the banking community, and is directed by banking and leading security experts
- .bank domains signify that a company has been verified as a legitimate financial institution that fulfills mandatory security requirements that go beyond existing standards.
- When website visitors see a domain which ends in .bank, they can be assured that they are working with a legitimate, verified financial institution.
MidCountry Bank’s website will continue to be updated on a regular basis with product announcements, community news, and company news. Visitors are encouraged to explore the new website.
