HUTCHINSON, MN – Residents of Hutchinson, and those who frequent the downtown business district, have likely noticed construction activity taking shape at the MidCountry Bank branch, located at 201 Main Street South. Ground broke on a new Drive Up canopy began in July, and is expected to conclude by mid-October.
Hutchinson Planning Commission approved the project plan in April 2016, which involved a land swap and redirection of the ally traffic just east of the current branch office. This approval laid the groundwork for MidCountry to enhance its facility by adding a detached Drive Up with three lanes and improved ATM access.
Branch Manager Nikki Willemssen commented on the excitement this project has generated in the community, “MidCountry’s objective is to improve the convenience and expand services available at our downtown branch. This has been a project under development for some time. We are very excited to get things underway, and even more pleased to be able to offer this enhancement to our customers.”
