MidCountry Bank is pleased to announce the presentation to the The Salvation Army Minneapolis Adult Rehabilitation Center a $300,000 grant to help veterans overcome their struggles with alcohol and drug addictions.
The Adult Rehabilitation Center, located at 900 North 4th Street in Minneapolis, has helped men and their loved ones overcome addictions for over 75 years. It is a long-term, residential, work therapy rehabilitation program that serves 340 people annually.
“The Adult Rehabilitation Center building has not had any significant capital improvements in 57 years, and now is the time,” says Envoy Tom Canfield, Business Administrator of the Twin Cities Adult Rehabilitation Center. “We are so grateful for the generous grant from MidCountry Bank. It will make a difference in the lives of veterans who are struggling with addiction and will have an enormous impact for decades to come.”
“Veterans who serve our country often carry heavy burdens from their years of service. Our grant ensures that there will always be a welcoming place available to a veteran who struggles with an addiction,” says Steve Meads, President and CEO of MidCountry Bank. “Our mission is to meet the financial needs of our customers, and support the communities we serve.”
