MidCountry Bank is pleased to announce the hiring of Derek Berg as the new Hutchinson Market President. In this role, Berg will lead the bank’s Hutchinson market team, drive strategic growth, and further strengthen MidCountry Bank’s commitment to serving the financial needs of local businesses, farms, families, and community partners.
Berg brings extensive experience in community and agriculture banking, relationship management, and market development. Having grown up involved in farming, he developed a deep appreciation for the agriculture community early on—experience that continues to shape his customer-first approach and strong commitment to rural economies. His leadership style emphasizes community engagement and personalized service, aligning closely with MidCountry Bank’s mission of delivering community-focused financial solutions.
