MidCountry Bank White Bear Lake team members Robert Morse and Cindy d’Almeida recently volunteered at White Bear Lake High School, leading a budgeting course for 16 seniors preparing for life after graduation.
The session focused on practical money management skills, including creating spending and saving plans, tracking income and expenses, understanding fixed and variable costs, and building simple cash flow systems. Using visual slides, interactive modules, and open discussion, the presentation encouraged students to think about real-world financial decisions they’ll soon face.
The students were engaged, welcoming, and eager to learn, making the experience both fun and rewarding.
