Schroeder Named a Top Woman in Finance

BLOOMINGTON, MN – Jennifer Schroeder, Controller for MidCountry Bank, was named to the “Top Women in Finance” list for 2016 by Finance & Commerce. An impressive list, it is comprised of notable women in the finance industry who are making an impact on their professions and communities.

After a strong training ground in public accounting, Jennifer made the move to banking seeking to use her skills with a financial industry focus. An employee of MidCountry Bank since 2008, Schroeder is responsible for leading a large cross-functional team across business lines to unify our accounting systems. MidCountry Bank’s COO and Top Women in Finance alumna, Maureen O’Brien-Wieser, shared “Jennifer exhibits paramount leadership skills within the finance and accounting teams for both the Bank and for our parent company, MidCountry Financial Corp.”
